The sauna has always been more than heat.
It’s ritual. Medicine.
A space where time slows, the mind softens, and the body begins to heal.
Born from my love of wild water and the balance found in contrast,
Soul Solstice Sauna brings warmth home to the North Coast —
creating a space for renewal through fire, steam, and stillness.
The Vision
Handcrafted, wood-fired, and mobile — the Soul Solstice Sauna will travel along the northern shores,
settling into wild, beautiful places where people can come together to rest and reconnect.
It will host public sessions, private bookings, and community wellbeing gatherings — offering warmth in every sense of the word.
Every detail — the cedar scent of the walls, the hiss of steam, the crackle of fire — invites grounding and presence.
Around the heat, we meet as equals — breathing, soft, human again.
Becoming a Sauna Master
When I travelled to St Andrews for my training with Anada,
I thought I was learning a skill — but what I found was a calling.
The experience was woven with love, laughter, and belonging.
It revealed the true sanctity of sauna — a space of purification, ceremony, and wholeness.
I returned home not only as one of two certified Sauna Masters in the Highlands,
but as a woman who had remembered her purpose —
to bring warmth and connection back to her community.
The sauna became a mirror, reflecting back the truth:
that warmth, when shared, can heal entire communities.
Building the Dream Together
Soul Solstice Sauna is more than a business — it’s a community creation.
Every plank, every spark, every kind word of encouragement brings it closer to life.
To help bring this vision into being, I’ve launched a JustGiving campaign.
Your support helps craft the sauna itself — the wood-fired stove, cedar cladding, trailer, and finishing touches that make it truly special.
